Identify the complete structure
Name the setting, people, actions, objects, sequence, atmosphere, turning point, and outcome without assigning meaning.
Consider personal and historical context
Place every major detail within the dreamer’s life, history, culture, relationships, responsibilities, and present season.
Generate associations
Generate several plausible personal, cultural, contextual, and scriptural associations while keeping alternatives open.
Examine Scripture
Read relevant passages in literary and historical context. Record their teaching, resonance, and interpretive limits.
Preserve distinctions among observation, association, interpretation, and application
Label statements as observation, association, interpretation, or application so possibility does not quietly become conclusion or command.
What appeared, without assigned meaning?
Which personal, historical, cultural, and scriptural connections are plausible?
Which coherent message best accounts for the whole movement?
Which proportionate, reversible, accountable response may follow?
Reassemble coherently
Write several candidate readings, including the strongest alternative, that account for the major elements and movement together.
Test the interpretation
Use the seven witnesses to test each proposal. Separately document verified facts, material counterevidence, open questions, and confidence for theme, timing, identity, and application.
Hold uncertainty humbly
State confidence separately for theme, timing, identity, and application. Preserve unresolved details, choose only proportionate and reversible responses, and schedule a later review.
Let the whole dream govern meaning
Return every proposed meaning and response to the complete sequence, atmosphere, turning point, and outcome. Record fruit, correction, confirmation, and what remains open.
Symbol-study standard
A symbol entry proposes an association. It never settles the interpretation.

Classify the evidence, then test the interpretation.
The five evidence lenses identify where a supporting claim comes from and how far it may reach. They are not a score and they are not the seven witnesses. After a whole-dream interpretation is proposed, the seven witnesses test it. Verified facts, material counterevidence, and confidence calibration remain required integrity checks alongside that review.

Rubric dream-method-use-2026.08.31. This program-developed formative rubric is currently in pilot use. It gives participants and facilitators a consistent way to make reasoning visible, document evidence, focus feedback, and track growth through revision. Formal reliability and validity studies remain future work. Each score is interpreted with its written evidence, scorer role, rubric version, context, and review date.
