A 30-Day Spiritual-Gifts Practice Plan for Adults
Use a structured thirty-day Christian practice to explore one spiritual-gift hypothesis through supervision, consent, service, feedback, and faithful reflection.

Choose one gift hypothesis
Begin with one expression supported by assessment results, recurring life patterns, community observations, or a sincere question. Read the relevant biblical passages in context. Write why this gift deserves exploration in the present season and which evidence dimensions already appear strongest.
Name a proportionate service practice
Choose an action matched to current experience and consequence. A participant might prepare a brief teaching, coordinate a bounded project, host a welcome space, offer practical help, encourage someone with permission, or join a supervised prayer activity. Define the people served and the hoped-for benefit.
Establish oversight and consent
Invite a mature, trustworthy person to review the plan and remain available throughout the month. Identify every point where participant permission matters. Explain the activity clearly, preserve freedom to pass or stop, and establish privacy, referral, documentation, and follow-up expectations before service begins.
Create a four-week rhythm
Week one prepares through Scripture, observation, training, and a small practice. Week two repeats the practice and gathers recipient feedback. Week three strengthens one skill or stewardship area. Week four completes a final practice and prepares a full review. Consistent repetition reveals more than one intense experience.
Record evidence after each practice
Capture the date, setting, action, preparation, consent, collaborators, observable response, participant feedback, uncertainty, and next question. Record each experience within Resonance, Practice, Fruit, Confirmation, and Stewardship. Preserve private information through careful access and minimal detail.
Review fruit with precision
Ask what changed for the people served. Name clearer understanding, strengthened hope, practical relief, belonging, wise action, sustained care, or another credible outcome. Include mixed results and unintended effects. Accurate reflection helps a developing gift grow in truthfulness and humility.
Invite independent community perspective
At the end of the month, ask the oversight person, a collaborator, and a recipient where appropriate to respond independently. Which gift pattern appeared? What fruit did they observe? Which stewardship strength deserves affirmation? Which skill, boundary, or question should guide the next season?
Choose the next faithful movement
Conclude by continuing the practice, adjusting it, exploring a related gift, receiving further training, entering another context, or resting before another cycle. Write one next action and a review date. Thirty days provides a meaningful body of evidence while leaving room for growth across time.
